dr. barbers offers men's and boys haircuts in a contemporary yet relaxed environment. The barber shop has been brought to Ampthill by Darren Johnson, a former Ampthill resident.  Having worked as a barber for many years, Darren wanted to open his own shop that was a bit different to the traditional barber shop which can often be stuffy and old fashioned.  Haircuts are classic, creative or modern, dr. barbers always listens to what you want. We have the latest magazines, newspapers to read and great tracks to listen to while you relax. For those in need of refreshment after a hard days work there is a complimentary beer on hand for late night openings.  You can also store your new haircut on our i-pad for reference on your next visit.  We also like to keep the children entertained with books and etch-a-sketch.  Friendly barbershop banter is also provided free of charge!
